About Us
Jessica & Ryne Herring
Owner & Chief Supporter
Jessica has been in the Allstar industry for close to 25 years. Growing up as a “gym-rat” in her parent’s gym she competed in the sport for 10 years. After high school, Jessica went on to cheer at Appalachian State University. Upon graduation Jessica began her teaching career in Union County, NC. She taught at the elementary level for 7 years. During this time, cheer still had a place in Jessica’s heart. She coached a local high school and began judging across the country. In 2018, Jessica was introduced to Mark Barnes (founder of 9 Panel Productions) and became the Judging and Scoring Director. She stayed in this position until her and her husband, Ryne, took ownership in 2021.
While Ryne had absolutely no cheer background, he has been around the sport for over half of his life. Ryne and Jessica are high school sweethearts, so he didn’t really have much of a choice but to attend Jessica’s competitions. Ryne also attended Appalachian State University majoring in Finance and Banking as well as Risk Management and Insurance. When not busy helping Jessica and learning all he can about the cheer industry, Ryne can be found growing his career in Insurance at a small family agency in Charlotte, NC.
Together they have two beautiful and spunky girls, Addison (6) and Avery (3). Sometimes you may see them pop into events to “watch all their friends on the big stage”. As a family they are always on the go and love to visit new places. Their favorite place to be is at the beach.
Kyleigh Skolnik
Judging and Scoring Director
Kyleigh has been in the All Star industry for over 20 years. She came from an era where All Star had just begun to take off, competing in the sport for 12 years. Once she graduated high school, Kyleigh went on to cheer for North Carolina State University for 4 years. Upon graduation from college, Kyleigh began her career working for Varsity All Star. Kyleigh took on many rolls and spearheaded many programs with VAS. Kyleigh is a familiar face to all as she returns to 9 Panel as our Judging and Scoring Director. Her love for the sport and passion for coach education is undeniable.
When not on the judge riser or at cheer events Kyleigh enjoys spending time with her husband, Stephen, and her two pups. She also enjoys crafting and building almost anything.
